We Give Dogs A Second Chance.
Dog Squad is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Greenville, South Carolina. We are a shelterless organization, meaning every dog in our care lives in a loving foster home—not in a shelter or facility.
We are a lifeline for the dogs who have been forgotten, discarded, or deemed “too much.” We specialize in medically complex and critically injured dogs—the cases most other rescues can’t take on.
We are intentionally small. That’s our strength. We believe in quality over quantity, taking the time to truly know each dog so we can make thoughtful, lasting matches.
At Dog Squad, we don’t just save lives—we rebuild them.
But We’re Not Just Your Average Rescue.
Veterinary care without shortcuts
We bring our foster dogs to the trusted veterinarians and emergency hospitals we use for our own pets.
Nutrition that supports healing
Every foster dog receives high-quality nutrition because we believe food is medicine.
Intentionally small, by design
We focus on quality over quantity, taking time to know each dog and make thoughtful lifelong matches.
Family beyond adoption day
We celebrate milestones and continue supporting our dogs and their families long after adoption.
Giving back to our community
We help people and fellow rescues through difficult times with veterinary care and preventative support.
Charm’s Paws-Ability Fund
Inspired by Charm, this fund helps sponsor custom prosthetics and mobility devices for canine amputees.
